Dick Daniel for Newbridge Ward

ABOUT DICK DANIEL

Dick is a well known local campaigner for the community transport and the environment. He is still actively involved in campaigning with Bath for Europe. Dick and his wife Jane live in Newbridge and have brought up two children who both went to local schools. Dick enjoys walking & cycling, playing badminton & tennis and theatre & arts. Dick is a partner in a newly established Bath based innovation company.

Local campaigns:

• Successfully campaigned to have the over growth on the river path cleared back after years of neglect
• Helped campaign for a zebra crossing on Newbridge Hill making it safer and easier for those walking
• Highly involved in community events such as the Chelsea Road street party and starting the Newbridge Arts Trail

 

My plans for Newbridge:

Make the river path an even nicer place for everyone to enjoy	Encouraging action to provide easy routes for children to walk and cycle safely to schoo
Support local businesses, to provide services for local people
