The Green Party General Election candidates covering the BaNES area, Dom Tristram (Bath), Edmund Cannon (NE Somerset and Hanham) and Martin Dimery (Frome And East Somerset) were all present in Bristol for the launch on the national Green Party campaign.

BathNES have failed, yet again, to secure any of the £101 million government funding, allocated this month, to improve walking, wheeling and cycling for residents that is desperately needed to deal with the growing public health and environmental crises. Bath communities, schools, and businesses are condemned, again, to choke on worsening fumes and suffer health issues.

Dom Tristram, the Green Party candidate for Bath, has announced his endorsement of the Climate and Nature Bill (CAN Bill), a groundbreaking piece of legislation introduced in the House of Commons on March 21st. Supported by 180 MPs and Peers representing all major parties, this bill aims to address the pressing challenges posed by climate change and biodiversity loss

Green councillors Joanna Wright and Saskia Heijltjes, along with other Green Party members, joined other volunteers from the community to clear a large amount of litter (29 sacks!) on Saturday for the 'Great Avon Litter Pick'.
