I am a mother of two, retired scientist and have also been a secondary science teacher.
I joined the Green Party four years ago during the election as I agreed with most of their manifesto. Since then we have had the latest IPCC report. This is a Climate Emergency and political change is vital as technology alone cannot fix this. Hence, I volunteered as a candidate.
We need to work together as communities to solve this huge problem and I would like to help. Please challenge all candidates for any political office on their understanding and commitment to the climate emergency before voting. “There is no Planet B”.
