I have lived in Bath for 33 years and have brought up two children here. I’ve been a campaigner all my adult life for groups like Oxfam and Freedom From Torture. I currently volunteer with Bath Welcomes Refugees. My background is in Social Work and I was a Service Manager at the Carers Centre for Bristol and South Gloucestershire until I left to become a carer for my parents.
I’ve been regularly knocking on doors in Bath on behalf of the Green Party for the past year listening and learning more about local issues. I firmly believe that the Green Party can make a huge difference locally in Lansdown and am proud to be part of a full slate of candidates standing in BANES for the Green Party in the May 2023 elections.
There is much work to be done in the climate and ecological emergency we are in on transport, cycling, and walking infrastructures, air and water quality and on energy transition. I believe I can make a difference working hard on behalf of local residents to improve the environment in Lansdown and Bath.
