I have lived in Keynsham for most of my life and have a deep sense of attachment to our community and environment.
I founded Keynsham Wombles in 2012 due to my increasing dismay at the amount of litter on our streets and surrounding countryside and this continues to be a thriving community group which I believe makes a huge difference to the improvement of our shared environment.
I am a founder member of #NoPlaceForLitter which aims to bring together volunteer litter pickers across our county to increase our effectiveness by working together. In addition to litter picking we aim to create change to prevent the creation of litter in the first place.
I worked for the Soil Association and the Sustainable Food Trust for over 20 years which has given me an understanding of the complex effects of food production on our environment.
