Annette Knox-Fraser - Midsomer Norton Redfield

I am a semi-retired lecturer and I became a member of the Green Party four years ago having become disillusioned by the lack of priority given to environmental issues both locally, and nationally.

In addition, I believe in a fair and just society so that all members of our community have equal access to safer, cleaner environments and to facilities that ensure their health and wellbeing needs are met. This includes children having the freedom to walk to school without battling fast-flowing traffic to cross roads and suffering any health impacts from the pollution that comes with it.

By improving the safety and accessibility to cycling and walking routes around the town, paying closer attention to litter management and working to reduce the potential for sewerage infected waterways, we can build the environment that our local residents and their families deserve.

As a Green Party councillor I would work tirelessly to promote these and other issues raised by you to the best of my ability.
