Public Event: Time For Truth, With Fay Whitfield And Natalie Bennett, November 21, 7pm

Join Fay Whitfield, Green Party Parliamentary Candidate for North East Somerset, and Natalie Bennett, Green Party member of the House of Lords, for a talk and Q&A session on the theme of 'Time for Truth'.

Natalie Bennett, Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle is a British politician and journalist. She led the Green Party of England and Wales from September 2012 to September 2016. Bennett was given a peerage in Theresa May’s 2019 resignation honours. She has contributed to the Guardian, Independent and Times newspapers.

Fay Whitfield has a masters degree in Heritage Management, specialising in natural heritage. She works as an Engagement Officer for a council Parks & Green Spaces department. Fay has a strong record of fighting for political youth empowerment. She has worked with organisations The Parliament Project and My Life and My Say on workshops which encourage young people, especially young women, to engage in politics.

This year, she also worked with a successful Writhlington action group who were campaigning against a poorly thought out housing development, which would have resulted in dangerous roads.
