Michael Coffey

Michael Coffey

Michael lives in Bathwick with his wife and three small children, and works internationally as a consultant in the water industry.  It was seeing at first hand the effects of climate change on water resources and their use that led him to join the Green Party 15 years ago.  Just as all politics is local, he believes that reversing climate change will lie in no small measure to local solutions, and for this reason he believes a genuine and strong Green voice on the council is essential.

In his time as a Green campaigner he has fought the other parties on everything from 20mph zones and clean air to light pollution and flood prevention, and will continue to make resident’s voices heard in the council chamber on these and other issues if elected to serve the people of Bathwick.
