Bath and NE Somerset Green Party have written a response to the council's consultation on a 'clean air zone' for Bath. You can read it here.
While we are generally supportive of any action to improve air quality, we think the council could have gone a lot further than just tackling the very specific NOx pollution that they are being forced to address. In our consultation we describe both how to implement a NOx reduction scheme more effectively and also a wider scheme to help reduce all harmful pollution, not just NOx.
We would urge you to let the council know your views. You have until midnight on the 26th of November to respond.
