Green News Summer Digest
Here is a selection of what we have been doing recently in and around Bath:
- Bath member Chloë Somers was selected as a candidate for the South West Green Party for the European Election 2009
- Eric Lucas, prospective parliamentary candidate for Bath, co-signed a document with Fabian Richter, Conservative candidate, calling for greater transparency in MPs' expenses
- Chloë Somers spoke at a cross-party panel event organised by BRSLI, discussing women in politics for International Women's Day
- Several areas of Bath were lucky enough to receive our newsletter through their letterbox in May, informing them of local Green issues and what we've been doing in their areas
- Bath Greens hosted a well-visited stall at the popular Widcombe Rising event in June
- Local Greens have been attending meetings about the future of the Bath Press site
- Michael Jay, from Hinton Blewett, has been selected as the prospective parliamentary candidate for North East Somerset.
